Rilla Mae Watson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rilla Mae Watson (Hamlet, North Carolina), who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pleasant Maness and Cotton Mill; her husband John H Watson Sr. of Hoffman, N. C; her daughter Sandra Watson Bailey; her granddaughter Angela Watson Morrison; and her siblings, John P. Maness Jr. of Rockingham and Hazel Maness Covington of Rockingham.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Watson Edwards (Dean) of Little River and John H. Watson Jr. (Retta) of Knoxville, Tennessee; and her brother LeGrande Maness of Georgia. She is also survived by five grandchildren: and nine great-grandchildren.
