He is survived by: his son Lee Watson (Ginger) of Hamlet; his grandchildren, April Martin, Michael Martin of Raleigh and Robert Watson of South Carolina; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Martin, Arrabella Varsi, Dominic Varsi, Tyme Nunn, Jarrett Watson, Addison Watson and Avery Watson.
