With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Stanley O'Brien (Hamlet, North Carolina), who passed away on May 4, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Hycel "Mike" and Beatrice Stanley O'Brien of Hamlet; and his sister Cynthia Gail O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Carol Clark O'Brien; his son Richard Landon "Ritchie" O'Brien (Joyce); his grandsons, Benjamin Clark O'Brien and Daniel Landon O'Brien; his brother-in-law Jerry Clark (Jane); his nephew Scott Clark (Julie); and his pet Lizzy. He is also survived by cousins and his walking partner.
