She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Kennedy and Myrtle Kennedy; and her husband Tom. She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Kinard (Edwin) of Hamlet, NC and Larry T. Rankin (Heidi) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Heather Larsen (Will) of Greenville, NC, Sheresa Divens (Johnathan) of Jacksonville, Kaelah McNamara (Carson) of Kings Mountain, NC, Jacob Rankin (Jessica) of Charlotte and Joshua Rankin (Haley) of Hendersonville, NC; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Kennedy Larsen of Greenville, NC and Rhea Divens; and her sister Linda Williams (Paul) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
