She was predeceased by: her parents, William Horace Helms and Erma Dixon Helms; her brother Samuel Helms; her son W. L. Haltiwanger, III; and her husband Dr. Bill Haltiwanger.
She is survived by: her children, Harriet Horn (Roger), Cindy Watkins (Rick), Missy Kirkland (Ricky) and Len Haltiwanger (Kim); her grandchildren, Adam Horn (Caely), Andrew Horn (Charlotte), Lindsay Kelly (Scott), David Watkins (Emily), Emily Morgenstern (Dan), Caroline Poole (Hayden), Elizabeth Gotkowski (Trevor), Will Haltiwanger (Evelyn) and Meredith Haltiwanger; and her great grandchildren, Adelaide Horn, Luke Horn, Madison Kelly, Emma Kelly, Helms Watkins, Austin Watkins, Sammy Morgenstern, Miles Morgenstern, Luna Gotkowski and Lolli Gotkowski.
