It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Simmons (Hamlet, North Carolina), who passed away on May 14, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Taft Jerome and Cladie Lear Simmons; and his brothers, Ray and Stanford. He is survived by: his spouse Barbara Brigman Simmons; his children, Kim Boone (Michael), Lisa Cline, Mike Simmons (Rhonda) and Susan Leonard (David); his grandchildren, Christy, Matt, Drew, Nick, Heather, Bridgett, Blair, Rachel and John; his great grandchildren, Dakota, Dylan, Kylee, Sailor, Carlie and Kennedy; and his siblings, Margie Parker (Carl), Jean Burgess, Jim Simmons (Carolyn) and Jerry Simmons (Sandra). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
