It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Forbis (Hamlet, North Carolina), who passed away on August 25, 2018, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayward Davis and Evelyn Bentley Davis Ross; her husband Donnie Forbis; and her grandmother Bertha Bentley. She is survived by: her children, Jody Clary (DeeDee) of Hamlet, Brooke Taylor (Josh Williams) of Rockingham, Susanne Forbis of Rockingham, Dawne Chavis (Ronnie) of Hamlet and Donnie Forbis, Jr. (Becky) of Newberry, SC; her grandchildren, Ally Taylor, Layla Forbis, Jaxon Chambers, Kali Hewitt, Seth Chavis, Jake Chavis, Tatum Chavis, Carly Rae Chavis, Tripp Forbis and Bree Forbis; her great grandchild Wade Chavis; and her siblings, Carol Davis, Jamey Davis and Jimmy Ross.
