He is survived by: his parent Mary Ard Paxton; his wife Geneva Butler Paxton; his sons, James Paxton (Bobbi) of Lilesville and Eugene Paxton (Miranda) of Hamlet; his grandchildren, Aaron Paxton and Ellie Paxton; his great grandchild Huntley Paxton; and his siblings, Danny Paxton of Rockingham and Ann Brigman (Richard) of Rockingham.
