She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Turnage and Jesse Tyson Turnage; her husband William D. Taylor; and her son Tommy Taylor. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Taylor (Cathy) of Cherry Grove, Larry Taylor (Joanne) of Lexington, Michael Taylor (Deborah) of Columbia, Danny Taylor of Cherry Grove and David Taylor (Tracy) of Ocean Isle; her siblings, Bobby Shepard (Shelia) of Raleigh and Jerry Shepard (Glory Jean) of Rockingham; and her grandchildren, Chad Matthew Taylor, Kevin Taylor, Traci Taylor Jones, Monica Meachum, Kim Martin, Justin Taylor and Shelly Taylor. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
