He is survived by: his parent Irene Sumner Gibson; his wife Ann P. Gibson of Hamlet; his children, Cathey Gibson Collins (John Porter) of Laurel Hill, Rene H. Warren (Shawn Warren) of Zebulon and Bennett Harrell (Mary Faye Lindsay) of Wilmington; his sisters, Sylvia Gibson Beder, Irene Gibson Webb and Lynn Gibson Milligan; and his grandchildren, Josh, Katie, Caleb Collins, Eli, Grayson and Alex Warren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
