He is survived by: his children, Melinda High McKay (Don) of Raeford, Mary Caroline High of Rockingham and Dubby High (Beth) of Rockingham; his grandchildren, Krystal McKay Sherman (Steven), Jenny McKay Secrist (Noah), Richard Worth High, Victoria Lynn Sachs (Ben) and Lilian Claire High; his great grandchildren, Norah Jean Camphell, Tulla Secrist, Eli Sachs, Kye Sachs, Fox Secrist and Quinn Sherman; and his siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Ballard of Wilmington and James High (Kathleen) of Jacksonville, Florida..
