He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Inman and Maggie Davis Inman; his wife Ruth Spangler Inman; and his son Ralph Stanley Inman. He is survived by: his children, Stephen G. Inman (Meg) of Chapel Hill, NC, J. Keith Inman (Susan) of Wilmington, NC and Jane Inman Allen (Kellum) of Columbia, SC.; his grandchildren, Bradley G. Inman (Jana), Scott G. Inman (Lila), Jennifer Allen Butler (Charlie), David K. Allen (Samantha), Justin K. Inman and Paige E. Inman; and his great grandchildren, Connor Inman, Jake Inman, Emma Butler, Josh Butler, Wade Allen and Ellery Allen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Rockingham, NC and Still Hopes Retirement Community of Columbia, SC.
