It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fitzritson Rickards of Hamlet, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Rickards and Ellen Phillips; and his sister Cora Rickards. He is survived by: his wife Roslenda Garcia; his children, Ellen Rickards of Georgia and Everton Rickards of Jamaica; his sibling Lou Rickards of Jamaica; and his stepchildren, Matthew, Ryan and Chloe. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
