It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Marie McIntyre (Hamlet, North Carolina), born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on October 29, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent David William; her sister LaVerne Eaker; her son Herbert W. Howell, Jr.; and her brother David W. Busby (Bill). She is survived by: her parent Mattie Penegar Busby; her daughter Debra Howell Bailey (Robert) of Effingham, SC; her stepson Robin McIntyre of Pinehurst; her sister Ann Thompson of Hamlet; and her daughter-in-law Mary Milstead Lindsey (Mark). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
