She is survived by: her brother Leon Powell (Pam) of Atlanta, GA; her children, Hewlett Byrd of Hamlet, Rick Byrd (Jennifer) of Rockingham and Shirley Byrd of Hamlet; her grandchildren, Lori Gibson Williams (James), Victoria Byrd Olivier (Martin) of Baltimore, MD, Garrett Hayes of Southern Pines and Holli Hayes of Pooler, GA; and her great grandchildren, Collette, Sylvie Olivier, Deanna and Ruth Ann Williams.
