It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Williams of Hamlet, North Carolina, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Reaves and Margaret Brooks Reaves; her stepfather Paul Averitte (Herman Adam Williams, Sr.); her grandson Tyler Adams Williams; her sisters, Betty Cox and Myrna Reaves; and her stepbrother Bill Averitte.
She is survived by: her children, Herman Adam Williams, Jr. (Judy) of Hamlet, Michael David Williams of Hamlet and Margaret Catherine Williams of Hamlet; her granddaughter Alexandria N.; her great grandchildren, Amelia Clarke Merriett, Nova Saige Merriett and Kaleb Adam Williams; her stepgrandchildren, Olivia Nawell Merriett and Brady Allen Merriett; her sisters, Sandy Hancock (John) and Nancy Nobles (Sam); and her sister-in-law Nancy Little Averitte.
