Effie Steen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Effie Steen (Hamlet, North Carolina), who passed away on September 29, 2019 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Geneva Grooms Tevepaugh and Thomas Tevepaugh; her brother Earl Tevepaugh; her husband Gary Steen, Sr.; her children, Tammy Steen Duty (Gary) of Hamlet, Karen Steen of Hamlet and Gary Steen, Jr. (Amanda) of Hamlet; her grandchildren, Kayla Brigman of Hamlet, Stevie Steen of Hamlet and Anakin White of Hamlet; her brother Charles Tevepaugh of Bennettsville, SC; and her sister-in-law Donna Flinchum Tevepaugh of Pinebluff. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews; great nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorial donations to be given in Linda's memory to Richmond County Hospice or Sandhills Wesleyan Church.
