He is survived by: his children, Steven Clay McRae (Ann) and Catherine Luckenbaugh (George); his daughter-in-law Pati Solis-McRae; his grandchildren, Bruce Clay McRae, Flora Haddock McRae, Gustaf Paolo McRae, Scott Macon McRae, Cassandra Penelope McRae and Elizabeth Smitha Luckenbaugh; his stepgrandson Andy Marquez-McRae; his sister Martha Herndon (James); his nieces, Kristi Wagers and Mica Way; his nephew Ashley Neal McRae (Shirley Lassiter); and his aunts and uncles, John (Nancy Boyle), Robert (Tommie), Maggie (Edwin Kelly), Nancy, Scott (Letha Wilkes), Luther, George (Ruth Terry), Mattie (William Samuels) and Walter Raleigh.
