He is survived by: his wife Vera Thompson Malloy; his children, James Malloy (Carolyn) of Hamlet, Charles Malloy of Hamlet, Dean Malloy of Hamlet and Diane Buchanan of Hamlet; and his stepdaughter Angela Arrington (Michael) of Laurinburg.
