With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clifford Hayes of Hamlet, North Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hayes and Ella Bean Hayes; and his sisters, Beatrice Daniel and Edith Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Faye Peele Hayes; his children, Anna Lee Jenkins (Fred) of Rockingham and Alton Hayes (Susan) of Hamlet; and his siblings, Mary Allen of Rockingham, Brenda Peele of Hamlet, Rev. Dannie Hayes of Pinelevel, NC and L. C. Hayes of Hamlet. He is also survived by Four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
