She is survived by: her sons, Jessie James Locklear, Jr. (Lindsay) of Hamlet, Woodrow Strong, Jr. (Anita) of Shannon and Robert Mitchell Strong (Amy) of Hilton Head, SC; her brothers, Tommy Strong of Greensboro, James Earl Locklear of Maxton and Johnny Boy Locklear of Maxton; and her uncle Evert Frank Locklear (Helen) of Maxton. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
