She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Henry Evans and Margaret Kathleen Witherspoon; her husband Jerry Lee Goodman; and her siblings, Gil Evans and Lori Parr.
She is survived by: her children, Shannon Goodman Maibodi (Mehdi) of Charlotte and Brandon Goodman (Molly) of Southern Pines; and her grandchildren, Cameron Maibodi, Evan Maibodi, Ariana Maibodi, Abe Goodman and Cabot Goodman.
In lieu of flowers, the family has elected memorial donations be made out to First United Methodist Church in Rockingham, North Carolina at their mailing address P.O. Box 637 Rockingham, NC 28380.
