With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Callahan (Hamlet, North Carolina), who passed away on March 20, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Sain and Eula Bess Sain; her husband McNair Callahan; her daughter Sarah Callahan Perkins; her son-in-law Marshall Perkins; and her siblings, Norris Sain, Pete Sain and Louise Peeler.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Mandy Phifer Shepard (Jimbo) of Hamlet; her great grandchildren, Hunter Shepard and Dannon Shepard; and her sisters, Brenda Heavner of Gastonia, Linda Hawkins of Lincolnton and Ethel "Butch" Warlick (Gene) of Vale. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
