She was predeceased by: her parents, John Oliver and Dorothy Niemyer Waters; her husband Arthur T. "Big Mac" McDuffie; and her son-in-law Tim Franklin. She is survived by: her children, Don McDuffie (Lorie) of Whispering Pines, Debbie McDuffie Franklin of Hamlet and Lynne McDuffie Cox (Michael) of Hamlet; her grandchildren, Mead Franklin (Yessi), Meredith Cox McDonald (Jacob), Matthew McDuffie (Natasha), Brent Franklin, Allen Cox (Taylor) and Justin McDuffie; her great grandchildren, Mallory, Leamon, Dorothy, Alton, Alley McDonald and Joy Franklin; and her extended family, James Vann McDuffie, Shirley McDuffie, Carole Venable, Juanita and Jim Owensby. She is also survived by Her children, grandchildren ("Her little luvs") and great grandchildren.
