He was predeceased by: his parents, Maude Ausbon Jackson and Herbert Jackson of Beaufort County; and his siblings, Betty Sue and Roger Dale. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Griffin Jackson; his sisters, Irene Jackson of Williamston, Pauline Harrison of Hamilton and Eunice Hodges of Williamston; his children, Brent Jackson (Dorothy) of Hamilton and Pamela Jackson Denton (Brantley) of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Gracie Denton, Jackson Denton and Hayden Denton; and his nieces and nephews, Brad Griffin, Tara Griffin, Kent Manning, Wyndi Phillips and Ricky Harrison.
