It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Edward Barnes of Hamilton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, John Knight of Princeton, NC, Angela Davis of Clinton, MD and Andrea Ryan of New York; and his siblings, Herbert Barnes of Hamilton, NC, William Barnes of Oak City, NC and Lucinda Roberson of Florida. He is also survived by Five grandchildren.
