She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ray and Allie Mae Butler Ray; her siblings, Geneva Hardee, Legrand Ray and Ralph Ray; and her grandson Keith Hardwick.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Ann Hardwick Davis of Hallsboro and Charlie Orby Hardwick (Wendy) of Bladenboro; her grandchildren, Jessica Caro, Mandy Sykes (Andy), Gregory Wayne Davis (Amanda) and Linda Priest (Richard); her great grandchildren, Carson Davis, Connor Sykes, Brantley Sykes, Lilla Sykes and Brianna Wright; and her niece Vivian Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be adressed to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville, NC.
