He is survived by: his wife Judy Nichols Pierce; his children, Geoffrey Pierce (Suzanne), Michael Pierce (Ellen) and Phyllis Pierce; his grandchildren, Jennifer Stasiak (Greg), Chris Pierce (Karen) and David Pierce; his great grandchildren, Ava and Dominik Stasiak; and his sister Catherine Barkley (Charles).
