She was predeceased by: her parents, William Quincey Bullard and Rena Cornelius Powers Bullard; her husband Lloyd Smith; her children, William Lloyd Smith, Robert Lee Smith and Kathryn Sue Smith Britt; and her brothers, Floyd Powers, Jack Bullard and Lloyd Bullard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Smith Evans (Jimmy) of Hallsboro, Rena Smith Milligan (Mike) of Tabor City and Melissa Smith Ray (Chris) of Hallsboro. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
