He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Adams, Sr. and Edna Coleman Adams; and his siblings, William, Richard Adams and Mary Adams Pridgen.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Adams, Jr. (Kellie) of Conway, SC and Jason Adams (Carol) of Leland, NC; his grandchildren, Colten Adams, Braydan Adams, Carter Adams and Madison Adams; his nephews, Lacy Pridgen, Ronnie Pridgen and Richard Pridgen; and his niece Donna Kay Singletary.
