He is survived by: his wife Elsie Miller Key; his stepsons, George Strickland (Cynda) of Columbia, SC and Albert Strickland of Columbia, SC; his daughters, Amanda Key, Sammy Faircloth of Hallsboro, Odessa Handcock (Jeff) of Hampton, VA, Libby King of Lexington, NC and April Barron (Freddy) of Ash; and his siblings, Deryle Key of Washington State, Clay Thompson of Pelian, SC, Chris Posey of Chadbourn, Jeffery Posey of Greenville, SC and Karen Locklear (Roger) of Tabor City. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
