It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Kenneth Summerlin of Hallsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Bryant and Ava Lancaster Summerlin; and his siblings, Joyce Smith and Harold Summerlin. He is survived by: his children, Mandy Summerlin of Chadbourn, NC, Michelle Mishoe (William Herring) of Lumberton, NC and Warren Summerlin of Chadbourn, NC; and his sisters, Blanche Summerlin of Hallsboro, NC, Evelyn Smith (Paul) of Virginia, Elsie Stevens of Hallsboro, NC and Jane Ellen Simmons (Richard). He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
