He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd R. Ray and Lillie Smith Ray. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Bennett Ray; his siblings, Robert Ray, Homer Ray, Dick Ray, Cameron Ray and Mildred Ray Smith of Florence, S. C.; his children, Carl Eric Ray (Cheryl) of Wilmington, NC, Glenn Allen Ray (Carol) of Lake Waccamaw, NC., Donna Ray Bullock of Hallsboro, NC. and Celeste Ray Brummitt (Ricky) of Franklinton, NC; his grandchildren, Alden Ray, Andelyn Ray, Hannah Bullock, Andrea Ray, Camryn Ray, Rachael Bullock and Addison Ray; his siblings-in-law, Veneda Ray, Jolene Nalley, Emily Barton and Elbert Smith; and also, Bentley Ray, Blake, Lacie Jacobs (MacKenzie), Johnny, Samantha Shore (Joshua), Gary and Stefanie Kuhn (Lynlee). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
