She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey E. Carpenter Sr. and Bonnie Frazier Carpenter; and her husband Floyd Carroll. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Bradley, Lisa Strickland of Sanford and Johnny Michael Bradley of Gaston; and her siblings, Dewey E. Carpenter Jr. of Kittrell, Westley Carpenter of Garysburg, David Carpenter of Archer Lodge, Clifton Earl Thompson Jr., Dinelle Stone of Hopewell, VA, Tammy Avery of Clayton and Laura Thompson of Gaston. She is also survived by nine grandchildren. The family will receive friends.
