He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lucy Martin Garriss and Fred Basil Garriss; his grandparents, Harry Lee, Hazel Dean Woodard Garriss, Craven and Emma Ruth Barnes Martin; his uncles, Harold Garris and Lynmore Gay; and his cousin Debbie Garris Burke.
He is survived by: his son Todd; his daughter-in-law Megan; his granddaughters, Charlotte and Emilia; his brother Craig (Karen); his nieces, Shelley Garriss, Holly Singleton (Ralph) and Samantha Brown (Nick); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Addison Brown, Isla Singleton, Dylan Singleton and Tucker Brown; his aunts, Sue Garris and Shirley Gay; his cousins, Darlene Gay Draper (Fred), Marie Garris Forney (Steve), Roslyn Gay and Jason Gay; his close friend Linda Taylor; and also, Erin D'Arco (Joe), Reagan, Michael, Ashley Etheridge, Spencer, Sydney Forney, Clint, Caroline and Diane Garriss.
