He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jesse Harris, Doris Ellen Harris, Johnnie Strickland and Gladys Strickland. He is survived by: his daughter Halyn Jean; his parents, Frankie Strickland of Roanoke Rapids and Doris Strickland of Roanoke Rapids; his brother Anthony "Tony" Strickland of Roanoke Rapids; his sister-in-law Wendy of Roanoke Rapids; his significant other Lindsay Brianne Barmer of Halifax; and his niece Kimberly Diane Traverse of Haw River. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles.
