It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Lee Bennett of Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rose Arrington and Maggie Neville Arrington; and her grandson Darius Remonta Davis. She is survived by: her aunt Bettie; her spouse Willie Bennett of Danville, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Sharnee, Laphinia, Johnathon, Michael Bennett, Jr., Dantonie, Corey and Octavis; her sisters, Nancy Arrington of Halifax, NC, Nettie Lynch of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Bettie Armston (Lenwood) of Enfield, NC; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Bennett of Danville, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
