She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Hedgepeth and Dora Hedgepeth of Halifax; her husband Arther Williams; her siblings, Bealuah Dickens, Lois Hux, Lathan Hedgepeth, Roger Hedgepeth, Ray Hedgepeth, John Hedgepeth and Rupert Hedgepeth; her children, Linda Lawrence and Robert Williams; her granddaughter Teresa Williams; and her husband L. J. Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Woodley and Steve Williams; her siblings, Lillian Ball, Peggy Bishop and Mike Hedgepeth; her grandchildren, Tracey Messick, Steven Fotta, Stacey Crickmore, Shannon Hamilton, Michael Williams, Angela Manginelli, Amy Tillery and April Hoggard; and her adoptive daughter Jannell Best. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
