With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barry Frederick Skaggs of Halifax, North Carolina, born in Ansted, West Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James Garland Skaggs. He is survived by: his wife June N. Skaggs; his children, Sean Skaggs (Amy), Gabe Skaggs (Jennifer) and Holly Skaggs; his grandchildren, Lincoln Skaggs (Olivia), Landen Skaggs, Levi Skaggs (Jeimy) and Grayson Skaggs; his great grandchild Gianina Skaggs; his sister Cathy Roberts (Brenzil Roberts); and his aunts, Kathleen Trippany and Rosemary Carr.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Little Kanawha Valley Christian School, 6377 W Little Kanawha Hwy, Big Bend, WV 26136.
