It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Dingus of Grover, North Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ballard and Isabelle Collette Dingus; his former wife Lena Linkous "Chick" Dingus; his children, Sharon Denise Dingus and David Alan Dingus; and his siblings, Mildred Wells, Lou Blackwood and Jim Dingus.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Mullinax "Bootsie" Dingus; his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Linkous, Jimmy Lovelace, Glenda Dingus, Shirley Story (Clifton) and Judy Bess; his stepsons, Dennis Ray Mullinax, Jr. and Ronald Sandy Mullinax; his nephew Mike Linkous; and his nieces, Lisa Fain (Steve) and Samantha Gibby (Shawn). He is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandsons.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the New Buffalo Baptist Church (1010 Lavender Rd, Grover, NC 28073). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at the Grover Cemetery (205 Bethlehem Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28073).
