She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Stroup and Judy Blanton Stroup; her husband Bruce Webb Ward; and her brother Donald Stroup. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Ward (Teresa) of Grover, NC and Renee Ward (Greg Martin) of Grover, NC; her grandchildren, Brandon Ledford (Samantha) of Grover, NC, Tiffany Moore (Roger) of Shelby, NC, Brandi Moore (Bobby) of Grover, NC, Tyler Ward of Grover, NC and Kelsey Ward of Grover, NC; her siblings, Wade Ward (Frances) of Waco, NC, Dean Ward (Joyce) of Waco, NC, Darrell Ward of Waco, NC, Diana "Skip" Wilson (Harold) of Shelby, NC, Jackie "Penny" Peterson (Edward) of Shelby, NC, Sandy Martin (Don) of Grover, NC and Linda Lundy of Cambridge, MN; and her close friend Joel Page. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
