He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Long and Virgie H. Long of Charlotte, NC.; and his sister Cynthia L. Sherrill. He is survived by: his sister Karen L. Sellers of Charlotte; his niece Amber S. Smith (Daniel) of High Point, NC; and his nephew Brandon W. Sherrill (Philomena) of Monroe, NC.. He is also survived by five grand nieces and nephews.
