She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Quinn Anthony and Alice Viola Bell Anthony; and her husband Rufus Carr Allen. She is survived by: her brother Joseph Anthony (Emma); her children, Cynthia Whisnant (Ronnie) of Shelby, NC and Thad Allen (Juanita) of Shelby, NC; her grandchildren, Thea Allen of San Carlos, CA and Damon Allen of Shelby, NC; her great grandchildren, Finnegan and Sullivan Allen of Shelby, NC; her stepgreat-grandson Jacob Green of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.; and her great-grandparent Abigail Beaver of Shelby, NC..

Time spent at family reunions was special to her, attending upwards of 6 times a year until COVID.
