It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Turner Jr. of Grover, North Carolina, born in Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martha "Mott" Hicks Turner and John Gene Turner; his sister Vickie Turner Propst; his brother-in-law Thomas Fred Propst Jr.; his nephew Dr. John Propst; his niece Megan Propst Huebner (Christopher Huebner); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ellison and Jackson; and his cousins, Mickey Hicks, Todd Hicks and John Haga.
