With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jennie Ivie (Grover, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Marks Borders and Della Hord Borders; her husband Jack Billy Ivie; her daughter Jennie Sue Ivie; and her grandson Jacob Dale Wright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jacqueline Johnson Ivie of Shelby, Debbie Cash (Jerome Cash) of Peachland, Janice Wright (Dale) of Shelby and Donna Long (Dale) of Shelby; her sister Sylvia Langston of Greensboro; and her grandchildren, April, Tara, Josh, Jared, Ashley, Adam, Ryan and Heather. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Those in attendance are requested to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
