It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lovelace of Grover, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sankie Lovelace and Minnie Rosell Causby Lovelace; his granddaughters, Shayla Moore and Brandy Bradley; and his siblings, Eveline Hamrick, Ruth Guiton, Viola Myers and Charles Lovelace.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Doodle" Lovelace; his children, Scott Lovelace (Susan) of Belwood, NC, Sharon Addison (Chris) of Grover, NC, Lisa Waters (Jack) of Lawndale, NC and Rev. Mickey Pruitt (Peggy) of Dallas, NC; and his siblings, Julie Oliver of Grover, NC, Bertha Truelove of Grover, NC and Fred Lovelace (Libby) of Grover, NC. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
