She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenny Benfield and Alice Mays Benfield; her husband Claude Brigman, Sr.; and her son Bobby Gene Somerset. She is survived by: her sons, Claude Brigman, Jr. (Patricia Lynn) of Stoney Point and James Daniel Somerset of Sanford. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and one and one-half great-great-grandchildren.
