He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Proctor and Marion Bell Proctor; his wives, Martha Mowery Proctor and Nancy Blake Proctor; and his children, Jim Proctor, Cathy Poston, Jimmy Mowery and Tommy Mowery.
He is survived by: his children, Cathie Norvell (William) of Westminster, MD, Debra Huffman (Mark) of Earl, NC, Vince Mowery (Belinda) of Boiling Springs, NC, Dale Mowery (Pat), Claire Nell Mowery of Gastonia, NC and Mary Crocker of Fl; and his brothers, Bill Proctor of Baltimore, MD and Bob Proctor (Shirley). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren.
