It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ray Heffner of Grover, North Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mozon Heffner and Lucille Patterson Heffner; his children, Cindy Heffner Callahan and Billy Heffner; his granddaughter Heather Callahan; and his brother Tommy Heffner.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brandon Callahan (Kelsi) and Kristin Callahan (James); his siblings, Johnny Heffner (Judy) and Barbara Adams (Jerry); and his friend Randy Carothers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
