He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh B. Strange and Susie Newton Strange; his sons, Larry Strange and Jimmy Strange; and his siblings, J. B. Strange, Dillard Strange, James Strange, Albert Strange, Ruby Peller, Mary Sue Ramsey and Marie Price.
He is survived by: his daughters, Thelma (Randy Pearson), Debbie Strange of Shelby and Tina Strange of Grover; and his brothers, Bobby Strange of Kings Mountain and Billie Strange of Boiling Springs. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
